Competent is a Competence Manager (GxC) to streamline the selection and production of training packages tailor-made for the needs of users, and an e-Portafolio, a Internet learning system based on competences and evidences generating an updated user competence profile, based on which gaps and be identified and a training plan offered in accordance with the user's professional objectives

Objective:

• Presentation of the COMPETENT project and demonstration of the operation of the pilot scheme on the virtual campus of the UOC on the Infojove Network training courses and in the digital communication department of the IBIT Foundation..
Informing users about the way they can access this technology.

TARGET AUDIENCE

>Software development companies and developers. Content creation and multiformat and multiplatform publishing companies: publishing, communication and e-Learning firms. Human resources staff and managers. Students, academics and researchers in information technologies and e-Learning platforms. Members of the public interested in the use of information and communication technologies.

This project is backed by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade as part of the National Programme of Information Society Service Technologies, with the formation of a consortium to develop an ICT project, and specifically by the National e-Content Subprograme, contributing to improving the technologies providing access to customised content depending on users' needs.
