On 26th September the Day-Event on Free Software for SMEs will be held, organised jointly by the IBIT Foundation and PIMEM (Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of Mallorca).

The Event which will take place at the Parc Bit will be aimed at companies and businesses with the purpose of defining and explaining the advantages and possibilities that the use of free software present in these type of organisations. During the day event, speeches will be made by respected experts in free software and major projects concerning open code on the Balearics will be presented as well as the different platforms that promote and research in this field.
