The aim of the projects is to meet the needs of groups in the Balearic Islands and resolve any insufficiencies displaying;
always in accordance with the IBIT Foundations mission to promote initiatives facilitating the progress of Balearic
Islands society in the fields of knowledge and technological innovation to reduce the digital gap at companies and
institutions.
Most projects carried out by the IBIT Foundation concern technological innovation in the
sphere of tourism and e-business.
However, it also takes part in projects involving health and the
environment.
The IBIT Foundation often seeks out businesses and institutions to collaborate on projects
so that open initiatives and programmes can be presented jointly at all times. Sometimes companies are looking for them
as a pilot for technological demonstrations.
