The IBIT Foundation puts on the protection and promotion of the natural enviromental resources of the Balearic Islands through the use of ICT. The islands are an area of great environmental concern, because its ecosystem is unique and offers a wide variety of great value endemic species. In addition, the islands bear a great strain on their resources, which are limited and fragile. Hence the importance of actively collaborate in the protection and defence of nature through knowledge, awareness and application of innovation for the conservation of this common good. This is the main reason for that IBIT Foundation devote part of its efforts to create and manage projects with environmental component. Closed porjects
