La Fundación iBit contempla implementar el uso de las Tecnologías de la
Información y las Comunicaciones (TIC) en diferentes ámbitos de la
sociedad y las empresas para relacionarse, trabajar, darse a conocer, hacer negocio,
crear confianza y compartir conocimiento. Para ello hace falta estar
atentos a las innovaciones tecnológicas que van surgiendo,
difundirlas y proponer implantarlas en diferentes sectores. A
través del Observatorio Balear de la Sociedad de la Información
(OBSI) se analizan diferentes indicadores de uso de las TIC en la
ciudadanía y en las empresas. A partir de los resultados se proponen
líneas de actuación.
Incorporar las TIC a la vida diaria y en el
entorno profesional de las PYMES a menudo comporta cambios en la
manera de relacionarse, aprender, compartir, actuar y hacer negocios.
En este sentido se proponen proyectos de
innovación social basados en el uso de las TIC

edit@: a system for the interoperability of multiplatform contents [+]
Edit@
seeks to createa gateway based on open standards and open source code
that will permit interoperability with the content management systems
already existing on the market. This will enable the editing,
modification and publication of content through a single workflow,
producing multiple formats.
