Desde el laboratorio de I+D+i turisLAB, el área de Turismo, está enfocada a promover el desarrollo de projectos de I+D+i en TIC aplicadas en el ámbito turístico. Las principales líneas de inverstigación están encaminadas a:

  • Lograr la interoperabilidad de datos entre los diferentes actores de la cadena de valor del sector turístico, mediante tecnologías basadas en SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) y Web Services.
  • Desarrollar aplicaciones de la web semántica en el ámbito turístico y fomentar el uso de ontologías y la reutilitzación de contenidos digitales en múltiples entornos y dispositivos.
  • Desarrollar métodos numéricos para el análisis de datos y su conversión en conocimiento para la toma de decisiones dentro el ámbito turístico y medioambiental.

    Development of a system to publish and reuse ICT-Tourism solutions in the form of web services in open source code or that follow the CAVAL open standard of interoperability between web services.
